Two absolute dominions that determine the lives of the Arabs: the desert and the sky. The desert is the incubator of the Arabs, and the source of their intellectual and material lives. The sky on top of them is clear, vast, untouchable. These two dominions have shaped up the lives of the Arabs since the dawn of time. Language, as expressed in Arabic calligraphy, is a cultural product of the desert and the sky. These themes; the desert, the sky and calligraphy are the source of inspirations of these abstract paintings.
