Architecture That Understands the Soul of Saudi Arabia

Creating Stories
Advancing Vision
In Arabic, Atlal means: “the ruins”. In classical Arabic poetry, Atlal occupies a central role in the structure of Arabic poems. Each poem starts by mentioning the ruins as a classical introduction to the poem. But these ruins are not mere vocal poetry, they are the remnants of the social and romantic lives of the past of each poet. These ruins are the architecture that witnessed the social lives of its people.
It is our aim at Atlal to redeem these ruins to life in contemporary and futuristic forms of architecture that correspond to contemporary requirements of the 21st century and at the same time, adhere to the romantic past of the Arabian poetry.

To carve a new, contemporary architecture inspired by the deeply rooted principles of local and pan-Islamic architecture.
